11/1/2023 – PROJECT UPDATE:

Construction phases 1,2,3,4,5,6 and 7a are complete.

Phase 6 (Lottsford Rd and McCormick Rd) was performed in coordination with the Prince George’s County Department of Public Works and Transportation (DPW&T) capital improvement bike-lane project. As coordinated and specified in our permits, Washington Gas made temporary restorations following completion of construction. Bike lane project construction activities including final pavement restoration, curbs, paint and striping will be scheduled and completed by DPW&T.

The last phase of the project, Phase 7b (Brightseat Rd), is partially complete and scheduled for completion in 2026.
