Planning for the construction of new infrastructure to improve the delivery of natural gas for Prince George’s County and the entire region takes time and thoughtful organizing. It requires that we reach out to affected stakeholders, including landowners, government agencies, community leaders, and others to determine a pipeline route that places a high priority on environmentally response planning and construction and address landowner needs.
Washington Gas will continue to reach out to affected landowners, public officials, and regulators to review the route and answer questions. We encourage stakeholders to provide feedback through this website and other avenues, such as public meetings.
Below is a brief timeline and graphic providing an overview of the project. We value the public’s feedback at each stage of the process and stakeholders are encouraged to stay engaged as we proceed with planning.
